NetEase announces the launch of “Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night” mobile game, a one-time buyout payment mode
Today NetEase Games announced that it will launch the mobile version of “Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night”on the platforms of iOS and Android.
It is a one-time buyout game that supports multiple languages. The scheduled release will be announced recently.
“Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night” is a Metroidvania video game developed by ArtPlay and published by 505 Games. The game’s development was led by former Castlevania series producer Koji Igarashi, and is considered a spiritual successor to the series. Also the game is the second in the Bloodstained series.
“Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night” released on PC, PS4, Xbox1, NS and other platforms in 2019 is made with Unreal Engine 4 engine. It is a 2.5D Side-scrolling video game with a strong feature of “Castlevania” no matter in basic gameplay and game promotion.
It was well received by players all around the world after its release.
The mobile game version co-developed with ArtPlay this time adopted the most suitable UI design for the mobile terminal experience to ensure that the fun and atmosphere is as the same as the original one.
Also more than 120 types of skills are all represented by Gothic-style icons, new mechanisms and shortcut buttons were added to facilitate special movements and equipment replacement, and a new achievement system is adopted.
The game itself also make “keeping it original” as the most important principle.
This work set on the stage of 18th century Britain. Its Gothic architecture and unique musical style will be highly reproduced in the game as well.
More than 120 types of monsters and BOSS that appeared in the original work will also be remade in the mobile game version.
